STRAWBERRY GINGER SMOOTHIE

December 16, 2014 / by admin / Leave a Comment

This smoothie recipe utilizes frozen fruit for a creamy, sweet treat. It incorporates the benefits of goji berries, strawberries and soothing ginger. Banana adds vitamin B6 to help reduce bloating and potassium to keep your electrolytes in balance and flush excess sodium from your body, helping to rid your eyes of puffiness. I like to freeze ripe, peeled bananas (halved) for smoothies and banana bread. They add creaminess (without dairy) to the smoothie when they’re frozen.
