Steamed Brussels Sprouts

Approximate cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts
  • water
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  • Add 1″ of water to the bottom of a medium pot, and insert a steamer basket.
  • Fill the steamer basket with raw brussels sprouts.
  • Cover and cook over medium-high heat until bright green and softened, around 8-10 minutes.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice (optional) and serve.
