Chocolate-For-Breakfast Smoothie

Approximate prep time: 10 minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 Tbsp. cacao
  • About 1/4 cup of your favorite milk
  • 1 Tsp. maca powder
  • Blueberries for topping
  • Hemp seeds for topping (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place everything in your blender (except the toppings) and blend until nice and creamy.
  2. Add more milk to obtain a more liquid texture. Or, if it’s too liquid, you can always add a few pieces of banana and/or avocado.
  3. Garnish with the toppings of your choice like hemp seeds and blueberries.
  4. Note: you can add a couple of dates or an extra 1/2 banana if you’d like something sweeter.
