Chili Sirloin Steak with Salsa

Approximate cooking time: 20 minutes

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • salt and ground pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Combine garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper; press evenly into both sides of beef steak.
  • Heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Place steak in skillet; cook 10 to 13 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once.
  • Allow steak to rest for 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve topped with salsa.
