Spinach is full of protein. It is also one of the best sources of dietary magnesium, which the body uses for energy, maintaining muscle and nerve function, heart rhythm, a healthy immune system and even regulating your blood pressure. If you’re watching your calorie intake, add a drop of lemon essential oil to sauteed spinach or cooked asparagus to prevent overeating.
